In-School Language Labs represents a collaborative initiative between the Worldwide Education Foundation (WEF), USA, and its project delivery partner, Foundation to Empower Students (FES), operating in Pakistan.

The WEF Teachers’ Training Program, a core initiative of the Herzing–Daya Research & Learning Hub at the University of Chitral, builds a competent Early Childhood Development (ECD) workforce for the region.

Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Learning Centers (ECLC) bring high-quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) opportunities to communities across Chitral, Pakistan, with a strong focus on remote and underserved areas.
100 bright beginnings eclcs· Chitral
Renovating every classroom in government primary schools in Upper Chitral, so that children moving on from early childhood classes into Grade 1 find the same bright, child-friendly learning environment.
10 government primary schools renovated· Upper Chitral
One of Pakistan's first Early Childhood Development (ECD) research hubs in a remote mountain region, hosted at the University of Chitral and led by the Worldwide Education Foundation (WEF), USA.

A capacity-building programme at the University of Chitral that combines university degrees, professional diplomas and short courses, in fields from early childhood development to hospitality and tourism.

Scholarships that keep students in Upper Chitral in school beyond Grade 8. The programme currently supports 115 students across five schools, delivered by WEF, USA with FES Pakistan.

Before this training, I never imagined I could lead my own learning centre. Now I feel confident to guide young children and support my community.
Without this scholarship, I would have had to leave school to help my family.
The program equipped us with valuable techniques for learning correct pronunciation, which motivated us to actively engage in the learning process.
We were shown how to create a prepared environment with materials thoughtfully arranged on child-sized shelves. Seeing it in action helped me understand how children will explore and learn independently once the center opens.
This gift strengthens our long-term sustainability and expands our ability to serve the people of Chitral with excellence for generations to come.
